File manager between linux phone/desktop?

I’m currently testing a lot of linux phones trying to figure what I want to do.

Librem 5
Pinephone with manjaro/ubuntu touch
and Fairphone 4 with Android, considering ubuntu touch

My big question is can I connect over usb-c and open up my file manager on desktop to interact between phone/ubuntu?

If so how do I do so?

Currently been using Linux Mint and POP OS!, So nemo file manager for Linux Mint.

Leaning on Ubuntu Touch and PureOS for phone

I suppose I’d like to know terminal commands just to know if needed in the future, but if gui file manager is possible I’d more likely use that most of the time.

I use KDE Connect. No cabling necessary, direct file transfer, runs everything over Wifi. Easy setup. Also shuts down my Desktop volume when I get a call or type SMS on the desktop…some nice convenience features.

i’lll give it a go, probably use flatpak, ubuntu touch is frozen up on phinephone this very second haha.

I’ll try on Librem soon which has been the most stable phone OS so far.

Got it installed on 4 linux machines and always had it in standard distro repos. It’s fairly common.

Using it on a Fairphone 4, standard Android. Runs like a charm
