Feedback on my Pc! how does it look? Any suggestions?

So after a lot of looking around and picking parts this is what i got, I need the monitors and sound card and wifi adapters, those are necessary.

Will it all work? is there something else i might need or are there other options? I really like full tower cases. just a side note also my budget cannot exceed 1000 U.S. Dollars and i will do some good gaming and a bit of editing

Only thing i would change is make it 8GB not 4

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236205 This is a better monitor and it's only a bit more expensive.

Oh! and I have a pair of Mushkin DDR3 1600 4GB (8GB set) just laying around unopened, I could sell those to you for $20.

It's fine, but there would some things I would personally change:

* The case is quite expensive and I'd opt for a $50-75 one and use the savings for upgrading the RAM to 8 gb's and upgrade the HD to at least 1 Tb.

i actually already bought the 4g of ram :c i would have happily taken up the offer had i known sooner, i would like 8 G of ram

i personaly would go for a better motherboard.

Asus M5A97 Evo R2.0 to make sure it supports Fx2.0 out of box. or if you prefer a GB board then the GB GA-970A-UD3 but then you need to be sure you but a R3.0 version of it..

Ok then ^-^

That does look like a much better motherboard, and its only slightly more expensive, and do i see a place to plug in an optical cable? would that mean i wouldnt have to have the sound card?

I don't like the case, it's really expensive giving the fact that you could buy beautiful, silent cases, with an excellent airflow and lots of features for under 90 bucks, you could even use the spare money to get a nicer LCD, more ram or even a better GPU.

How about this one? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146074 it's similar than the one you picked, way cheaper and from a good manufacturer.

Personally for a budget build, I would go for a mid tower solution, around $60 like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139018 and invest those 90 dollars you got from picking this case to get a FX 8350 and a 990FX chipset mobo, or an amazing 24" monitor with great image, or a 7950 instead of that 7870.

o yeah before i forgot, the ramm you selected, high profile with that cpu cooler is not a good combination, cause the heat spreader on those ramms are to large, you wont be able install them in slot 1/3 dual channel, only slot 2/4.

about the sound card.. i dont know how much you care about sound.. ive got the Asus M5A97 evo R2.0 and it has a great onboard sound chip, no complainings about it.

the evo board had a better power phase 6+2  but the board you selected the Asus M5A97 R2.0 had 4+2 power phase, but that will still do great on the Fx6300 95 W cpu..

It wasn't needed to make a new thread, I can see things repeating already...

If you don't wan't a reasonable case (like haf 912) for your build, its fine. (it's just from a logistic view not logical, because you miss on for example 8 instead of 4 gb ram). Here is another option in your overpriced case I've picked, if you still want to spend so much ;):

* Mobo supports front USB 3.0 ports (with the case I selected)

* RAM has been upgraded to 8 gb's (2 x 4 gb's) CAS 9 @ 1866 mHz!

* Upgraded the GPU to 7950!

* Upgraded HD to 1 TB

* Removed sound card. Most onboard sound cards are good. You can add one if you decide you want it later.

* Changed Case to a more affordable one, but still is quite good for the $.

I really dislike it when the OP starts a new thread, because of???? It's okay to do, but it just makes things interesting.

I think he is just worried, and thought that with so much change he should start a new thread.

Yeah that is fine too, it would just help out a bit if the original thread was linked, so we don't advise the same things too much.

true. Spy is sepping your sentry...

Did i forget to mention i currently  have a 4G ram? thats why i only listed another 4 to add them to 8 guys sorry i forgot to clarify that

Thanks for the motherboard upgrade guys, all the ones i was being reccomended didnt have a sound card in them, so i assumed there wasnt much of an option hence the separate sound card

The HDD 1T really isnt necessary right now guys ive had this junk comp for 6 years now and ive only used to 120G including music, pics,  and some light games

if i really need more storage ill get an additional HDD in the Laaaater future

As for GPU guys come on, i dont need to be running crysis 3 on ultra :P!

i reaaaaally like full motherboards

Someone mentioned about my CPU Cooler would cause problems with my ram,  can someone help me pick one?

Sorry guys im a bad OP and i am kinda new to this PC world but im trying my best here!

Okay say i install them on 2/4 will that affect performance? i need a different cpu cooler to be able to install all of the ram in the future wont i?

also ive upgraded the mother board yet again, thoughts?

* Getting a "Matching" set of RAM sticks is essential to having the best RAM performance possible. The set that I listed in my build would be a good set to have. They also have LOW PROFILE heat spreaders (they don't stick up veritically too high) so the heat spreaders won't interfere with anything that you might want to add down the road (mainly CPU HSF's).

* All Mobo's (in recent memory) come with built-in sound. You can see them on the back ports of the Mobo's.

* The 1 TB HD suggestion makes sense, since a 500 gb HD goes for ~$10 less. Plus the fact that modern SATA HD's are a bit quicker than older (~3-6 years) ones, so it makes sense to buy a new HD. It's up to you, but most games nowadays are around 10-30 gb's per game, so be prepared to need some room.

* GPU suggestions were made based on your $1k budget. The 7950 in this budget range makes sense too. If you want to spend less than the 7870 LE or 7870 followed by GTX 660 and then by the 7850.

* I prefer ATX (full size) motherboards too, so when you ask for some help just lay out your options that you like and give a reason. Most people know that everyone has preferences and will stick to those that you ask for.

* I would recommend the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO for cost and performance (usually around $20-35)

The AsRock 970 Extreme 4 is a great motherboard with SLI AND Crossfire capability. USB3 internal header, and audio shouldn't be much different than the Asus M5A97 R2.0.

The only other option I would consider is the MSI 970A-G46. SLI+Crossfire, Epic colorscheme,no USB3 header. Every other hardware is top-notch.

Maybe get a cheaper case if you want... like the NZXT Tempest 410 Elite, 200R,Fractal Define R4...

Word of advice; get the Hyper 212 EVO before purchasing the other RAM stick, try the whole thing together, and only get the second stick if it fits. If it doesn't, get a smaller kit. :)
