Fedora Users Moving to F24, You Might Want to Consider Switching 3rd Party Repo

Figured its worth sharing to those who might not know. As we all know rpmfusion are still having some infrastructure teething problems.

Theres a newish repo that you all might consider https://unitedrpms.github.io/ , it will support F24+ and should have the most common 3rd party packages everyone needs.

I plan to switch to it when I switch to F24 and see how it goes.

(fyi, a few days after F24 release, you'll be able to upgrade to F24 without the command line from F23. (through gnome software))

I like the repolist. It's a really good one for starters as wel. I never really use repo's beside fusion for codecs.

I Don't like that idea. I use Fedora more then 10 years now (from 8-9). Does it not cause a lot of trash on your system because of the rapid updates in Fedora?
It might be just between my ears of the passed, But in Fedora's case is it not just always better to make a clean install?

I couldn't get video to work properly on F24... So I'm staying on F23 for a good while...
