Just wanted to let you all know about this. Yes, it could crash and burn, but it's gotten more exposure in the first day of its existance than ANY other alt coin - including litecoin. So, I jumped on the bandwagon early and have already gotten myself 1200 overnight.... if anyone wants to check it out, here's the thread.
I'm hopping on for a bit, but I think that I'm going to stick to litecoins after I garner ~1k of these. I want to stockpile on litecoins before the projected mtgox adaption
Termhn could you make a tut please, I'm going out for the weekend and I would love to leave this running on feathercoins, your tuts are great.
I am a totally 'tard when it comes to all this mining stuff, I managed to setup, using your tut, CUDAMiner and Minerd, so both of those running I get 200 KH/s, not bad for a 660ti.
Anyway, I went to that thread post and they are talking about using CGMiner which I have never used and Idk how to setup using their pools cause the pool I am in currently for LiteCoin mining, I make a worker, easy, put it into the .bat, for this though there is no making worker accounts. So please I would love a tut on how to setup the programs and get into one of those pools mining. My head hurts filling it in with so much mining and programs within less than a day (Stayed up all night)...and I have an i7-3770k + GTX 660ti FYI, so I havent touched Reaper, GUIminer or CGMiner, just CUDAMiner and Minerd (as well as the wallet miners but everyone says those are bad)
Alright, just updated my guide to include FeatherCoin mining. Enjoy :) I'd expect somewhere around 160/day currently (I have about the same hashrate as you), and that will continue to decline as difficulty climbs.
