FCC to restore net neutrality

The FCC chairman will put forth a plan to treat all internet traffic equally:

We'll have to see how this plan actually looks, but a bit of good tech policy news for once is a good thing.

I'm hoping this happens. Comcast denies it but both my Netflix (struggles to hit hd on wire with 50/12 connection) and my ftp have magically come to a crawl....

Why isn't netflix suing the shit out of these providers? It should be rather easy for them to prove their services are being bottlenecked and then we've got a rather solid anti-trust case.

Next up, the federal government restores individual freedom.
