hi yall! looking to get some help, not to long ago i found a tweak online about making my boot up faster in windows and it made my startup apps load like lightning fast i noticed the difference right away, im basically hoping that someone knows what im talking about and can help me find it again iv tried googling for hours with no results couple tips its not that check box in the control panel that says turn on fast startup (recommended) all i can member from the post is they said back in the day computers where older and slow but now with computers being fast your pc dosnt need yada yada to load your startup apps
but yea if anyone had a guess as to what im talking about plz post becasue this tweak blows my mind THANKS GUYS,N GRILS
SOLVED
found my solution HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Serialize If you can’t find the Serialize key, right click Explorer, select New > Key, and name it Serialize. Under this key, create a new DWORD value called StartupDelayInMSec and set it to 0.
now reboot and tell me u don't got a 3/4 chubbie :)
Going into the Task Manager and under Start Up disable programs starting up that you don't need, only the vital ones? That's what pops into my head if you're using WIndows 10, and 8 I think?
na that's not it friend basically what im talking about is it makes them all load faster during startup has nothing to do with windows loading really or disabling the apps just once i am booted onto the desktop those startup applications on the bottom right just load up literately like half the time it normally took i been looking all night for that post online but its time for bed if i find it ill definitly post it here
I got a program, forgot how, I think it was included in mobo drivers update, but for me its called "fastboot" also I'm using an ssd, for me everything runs fast if its installed on my ssd.
Go to Start > System Configuration > Boot Options > Advanced Options > Tick "Number of Processors" > use the drop down menu to select the highest core count you have > click "Ok" > "Apply" > Reboot when asked to.
I think that's what you're looking for. Also I would keep Fastboot disabled because on every shutdown there isn't a true reset of the machine (you can see the hours of on time of your machine piling up in fact). I have an SSD so the difference in boot times is almost unnoticeable.
Yeah, and for me it made me have huge issues with my USB3. I'd have to hard restart the PC each time to get them to work. Fastboot turned off? Problem never again.
thanks for the suggestions friends but no one has come up with the true answer yet i STILL am looking online vigorously for this tweak. i have done all the other suggested tweaks you guys mentioned as well and i too have an ssd, 2 in raid 0, but trust me guys when i find this thing you will b impressed, another helper tip that comes to mind in the text i member he said that your computer loads all your startup apps one at a time but the tweak makes them all just start loading all at once n if u have a good pc they just snap open lightening fast ill keep looking for it n keep u posted once i find it also i think it might be a registry edit but i could b wrong memory not so well on how it was done
