I recently upgraded to an Asrock z97 Extreme4, and if I do a forced power off (hold power button) my fans run at full speed and the screen never displays. The motherboard does not give me any error codes or abnormal beeps. Any ideas on the cause of the issue?
has the bios been updated?
Yes I did update after I installed it. After updating it did do exactly that before I had to force shut down.
try to clear bios and see if that helps.
