Fancy Ubuntu backup tool

Hi guys!

I’m looking for a Linux backup solution similar to Macrium Reflect (only Windows) which backs up entire partitions and allows for backups to be browsed and individual files from prior dates to be accessed and copied back, preferably mounting the backup as another mount, and which has a nice user interface, that is… not command line based.

This is for a 16TB raid and will be backed up on a Synology box via a 10Gbs network.

EDIT: I’m open to paid solutions, within reason

EDIT 2: Entire partitions as in bare metal. If I remember correctly Macrium does block-level backup, yet it still allows you browse past images as a live file system mounting previous them on demand as new drive letters. So you treat the image of an old backup essentially the same as any disk… though obviously you can not alter the source. Sorry, I’m spoiled. LOL

Thanks!!

Timeshift

Edit: nvm I misunderstood the assignment.

Damn missed my chance for obligatory “Timeshift is not a backup tool”

Deja dup/duplicity if you haven’t tried it yet. Most options on linux use the CLI but you can often find user interfaces for these… no images though. Could try UrBackup but it’s a client/server thing, not sure if you can install it on your nas.
