did you enjoy the series ? i presume you liked the films...so did the series deliver ?
i've seen 3 episodes and must say...it's ''ok'' but i miss gore. it's nostaligic and i like its simplicity, reminds me of z nation's humor a bit, but i'll always prefer the evil dead films. Series was ok for a one time watch. It didn't fail, but it also didn't blow my mind ( like the first season of true detective and first season of fargo for instance). Then again, i didn't expect much so i'm not let down in any way.

I'm not a big horror fan. I reluctantly tried 'Army of Darkness' because a friend told me I HAVE to see it. I wasn't really into Evil Dead but I could see why people like it. I do like horror comedy. In that regard, 'Ash vs Evil Dead' is the ideal blend of horribly funny TV.
Yes, the show addresses his age perfectly. He is a loser that still works at S-mart (but it's called something else). He's still a totally immature Lothario, but now he's an aging relic that thinks he's still got it.
