I am currently building a PC and I have a fan question. Wasn't sure where to put this so I'm putting it here, sorry if its the wrong place. If I buy a fan controller like the one below can I just plug my chasis fans into it instead of the motherboard?
yeah, that's thewhole purpose. i prefer plugging pwm fans into the mobo tho, but 3 pin fans should go to the controller

The link didn't go through, sorry. I just wasn't sure if it would hook directly to the psu or what. I'm gonna use it for the fans I don't have slots for on the motherboard
