so basically im wondering if I need to reconfigure my fans. I have my top fans (2x 140mm with rad ) intaking and front fans on intake duty as well with the bottom 120 and back 120 as exaust. the front and top are filtered. as well as the bottom. also I have a 680 lightning for graphics. can I get better temps with a negative pressure setup vs the positive pressure setup I have now? currently nothing is getting hot, but my vrm heatsinks would most vunerable on my cheap msi z77 board with a 4.3 ghz oc on the cpu.... im guessing im overkilling on cooling and don't need to worry about it.... am I right or should I reconfig my fans for neg case pressure?
well im personaly not realy a fan of using an AIO as an intake, because the the air that gets trough the rad, heats up and get into the case.
i personaly would advice to make your krakan as exhaust.
front + bottom input.
back exhaust or input thats something you could play arround with.
why would they filter the top if its exaust ? to keek dust out when the case isn't in use?
Yep - exactly that.
You always want exhausting air to be up and backwards - heat rises
