A lot of us loved the fan-made Fallout short, Nuka Break. They attempted to use the show to secure a deal with Bethesda to make a web series not only funded by them, but counted as Fallout canon. Unfortunatly, but unsurprizingly, Bethesda turned them down even though reportedly they liked the short. Now, writer / director Zack Finfrock (who also plays "Twig") and the rest of the original cast and crew are attempting to make the series through fan donations, albeit still non-canon.

They are asking for $20,000 USD to produce the series using IndieGoGo. The donations are under the same model as Kickstarter, with various prizes given to donors depending on how much they donated. For example, each donation over $10 receives a "Special Thanks" in the credits, and a extremely generous donation of $5,000 or more receiving the credit of Associate Producer, getting to be a extra in the series, signed replica PIP-Boy 3000, another small prop from the show (like Jet or Nuka Cola bottle caps), a full-sized signed Nuka Break movie poster, and a Special Edition DVD when it is released.
I loved Fallout Nuka Break, and I can't wait for this series. I'll gladly donate once I get a few dollars in my pocket. I'm concerned though that they may not be able to make the $20k needed in little over a month. Still, this seems to be the last shot at seeing the series come into fruition so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

On an unrelated side note, I apologize for not being as active this past month or so. I hope to be a bit more active now.
