Faded squealing sound after new build

greetings ,

so first of all i post a link for my PSU 800w fps unit

http://www.hardwareheaven.com/content/reviews/power-supplies/28663/fsp-everest-80plus-800w-psu

i have a Silverstone 700w laying around but i dont think it will cut it  with what i have so i didnt even test it yet .

so the problem is  there is almost a beeping sound coming out of the PSU and its like every sec ...

NOW i know it is a power saving feature of the new x79 build  coz when ever my system in on load the sound goes away SO WHAT SHOULD I DISABLE AS IT IS DRIVING ME CRAZY !!! damn old psu tech/new cpu tech compo ... here is my spec :

so i had a good deal on a fairly new/used x79 system and i jumped all over it and that system is now a donor system for my main PC so to start i will post my new system/old specs :

cpu : new = 4930k @4.5ghz cooled by CM 240M ((doner)) , old = 920 @4Ghz  cooled by noctua NH-D14 and might get back to this one for the new build .

MB : new = rampage iv formula old = MSI x58 pro-e

RAM : new = 32GB hyperX beast 2400 @2133 old = 18GB transcend 1333 @1700ish both are runing @ 1.6v

GPU : donor system had x2 650ti boost sli , my system still has its 770\ 560ti   running @ stock

Storage : hyperX 3k 240GB OS kingstone V300 wow folder /video editing scratches , samsung 830 (donor ) , toshiba SSHD , 6 normal HDDs 1~2 TB each + pending new pci-e sata  card ^^ .

Blu Ray drive (doner use to have normal DVD burner ) also pending new pci-e sata  card BUT power is hooked up to it .

new my build is in my shinny new CM cosmos II and i have a love/hate feeling to it :P hint : took me 3 days to finish the swap coz its that much god damn heavy !!!!

The soundcloud link does not work?

Are you sure its not coil whine? Although normally coil whine is associated with higher load vs lower that is not always the case. If it is very loud it may be defective, if its subtle it may be acceptable for that quality of PSU. Can you hook up your other PSU and see if the noise is there? I very much doubt a 700w PSU will not run a system that an 800w PSU will.  Especially considering the 700w is from silverstone and the 800w is from a lesser known company. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the silverstone would actually take more load than the 800w.

sorry about the link they removed the sound clip >> anyways this is a new link http://1drv.ms/1u93ay9

anyways i will give it a try just as soon as i fugier out whats wrong with one of my usb its disconnecting and connecting back on it its own and i dont know what is it .... i can even hear a usb plugging in when windows starts ...

i just got back home and got the silverstone out of my other pc (donor pc) and that unit is super cheap looking :S only 46 amps on the 12v rail and it doesn't have as much sata power as i have drives i have 10 drives and this thing only have 6 sata and 3 molex  .... i really don't think it will power my FULL system .. it doesn't even have sleeved cables ...

so im back !! i think that i found out what was wrong . so yes i ran a 4.5ghz of what i thought of a stable OC only to find out that i got BSOD when running prime95 and other programs . anyways i did my fair testing and playing with volts and BCLK and got finally got a 4.3Ghz with 1.3v as rock solid OC infact i i couldnt get the damn thing go stable on 4.5Ghz even with nearly 1.5v so i gave up and went down !!! anyways ever since i ran the good OC the beeping sound was gone !! so i would think it was the Vdrop trying to work with a bad OC and that what made it sound like this ! anyways thanks for all and i hope this might help someone else some day ^^

so i went and bought a gtx 780ti and when i ran that thing my pc just shuts off ya ya you guys told me that i need a new PSU anyways i went out and bought a PSU well i BOUGHT THE PSU i got EVGA supernova 1600w p2 !!!! over kill for now and the PC is not shutting down anymore AND the sound is no more i cant hear it from the outside BUTTTTTT its in my headphones now and only there ..... im 100% sure now its a system power saving or some option thats making that sound :S HELP HELP :S i always forget my headphones on without playing anything ((i like to block out the noise )) and i can hear it all the time now ...... what should i do ???

no one :S ?
