As the title says,FB is buying over Whatsapp. I wanna know how many of you think that this okay. Actually,is Whatsapp popular over there in the western countries? It is extremely popular in Asia and i'm put off by this. I just might give up Whatsapp when the deal is done..The whole deal seems insidious to me.
I would love to see a segment on this in one of the upcoming Tek episodes
Article over at Arstechnica. For some stupid reason my tablet won't let me copy and paste the link.Sorry.
I only use Whatsapp to contact one guy and I'm probably going to try and convince him to get a G+ account now so that we can use hangouts... I just don't like Facebook to be honest. When they took over Instagram it became... Well, what it is today.
I get what you mean. I deleted my FB account two years ago and never looked back.Probably one of the better decisions i have made. So i have no idea what FB is like today.I'm just glad got out when i did. When i heard all the privvavcy changes flipping ann flopping,i was glad i did so.
The thing is,almost all my friends use Whatsapp to contact each other. It is kind of the defacto messaging service in Singapore and growing in other parts in Asia. It's a huge pain in the arse.
