Extreme Budget build under $300

Hello TekSyndicate,

I am looking for an extremely budget build for my cousin. Probably, the most intensive game that she plays would be Skyrim Elder Scrolls. Other than that, she plays browser-based 3D games and Minecraft. Here is a build that I thought of for the price point:

Can you please suggest anything that I should do differently for such a budget? Keeping it lower is ideal because if this goes well, my aunt's planning to buy another, so imagine the price doubled.

Thanks!

i would not really trust that motherboard i have not really heard good thing about biostar

also the power suply is quite overkill i would recommend this motherboard:

Also if the budget is really low i would recommend buying a case on craigslist you will get a better case for less money

Excellent suggestion on the motherboard. This is my build as of now: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2cu44

The only reason I got the 500w PSU was because it was the cheapest Corsair I could find and 80+. I don't want to be another victim of those "Raidmax PSU horror stories". And as for the case, I think I'll probably keep what I have. I don't have any means to go craigslist fishing because I'm still a student. Thanks. Any other improvements that I can make?

get some 1866mhz or higher ram. You bottleneck any APU with slow ram. 1600mhz will definitely hurt performance.

i have that motherboard in my wife's rig. its been holding a 4.5 GHz OC for over 2 years, running for at least 8 hours a day. great board lol.

NB4 "wait for Kaveri!"

Looks like a decent build, and seriously you may want to wait for Kaveri with it's 30% boost in graphics compared to Trinity but you will need 2133+ MHz ram to really enjoy it's capabilities further pushing the cost.
