External Microphone on Xperia P

Hi guys,

Is there any way I could use an external mic as a recording device when recording a video using my Xperia P? Are there any apps that can create such thing?

Any pair of headphones with a inline mic would work to my understanding?

I just wanted the mic (Just for recording video). Like a mic attached to an DLSR. Come to think of it, I don't think it is possible. Thanks for ur help anyways.

No, USB host is supported on your phone, however, I tried with my Blue Microphone in my Xperia S and it decided not to work.
