External Audio for RX100 VI

Couldt see a camera or videography section so hope this is okay here…

I have a sony RX100 VI (the one before they included a mic input.

Is it at all possible to get a Micro USB to mic input adaptor so I can use a rhode or similar 3.5mm external microphone??
Otherwise it is syncing audio from another device which with lots of small clips will be a pain?

you can add audio to a video in video editing software
your rx100 would have to recognize the mic as an input
I would guess that it is not interested in that unless there is a Sony option already available
if there is use any USB that will fit the port
that adapter might work if there is something similar from Sony
