I know you cant really transfer programs to another HDD so i was wondering since my new HDD is set to primary just like the original one will new apps install automatically onto it . P.S. old HDD only has 30gb left.
By apps, what are we talking about here. Windows 8? Or which OS are you running?
Wind 7 64bit....My games are mostly taking up the space,
Adding a new HDD into a system gives you extra space to install/store programs on. All it means is when you want to download/install or store some files you just point the save location (directory) to the new empty HDD.
Im not sure what you mean by "set to primary".
The answer i suppose would be "no it wont automatically save to the new HDD" you will have to tell windows to save things to it.
I'm using a program called minitool partion wizard and you can set the hard drives to primary. Thanks, iw as thinking that as well. However my new HDD is completely blank so do i just create folders then point it there?
