EVGA Warranty

Hi, I am looking buy the EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 06G-P4-4995-KR Superclocked+ ACX 2.0+ PCI-E Graphics Card.

If I buy the card now, It would just be unopened in my house until I buy other parts at the end of december this year. I am unsure about this because of RMA concerns if i buy now and put it in my new pc around christmas and I find that it is DOA can it get RMAed or is it too late.

Buying in the UK from either Amazon or Scan Computers.

So this card falls into the 3 year limited warranty category meaning:

"All products returned from EVGA's RMA department are thoroughly tested recertified products. If an RMA is necessary within 30 days of the original purchase date, a new in box OEM replacement will be sent in return if the product was purchased new-in-box, subject to availability." (Brand new card of the exact same product #)

if not within 30 days

"Products sent in for RMA will be repaired and returned or replaced with a thoroughly tested recertified product of equal or greater performance." (Factory refurbished and recertified card of equal or greater performance)

If you want to but a non-EVGA card

EVGA only offers refunds on products purchased directly from EVGA.com within 30 days of purchase and are subject to a 15% restocking fee if opened. For products not purchased at EVGA.com, refund claims must be processed through the original vendor's return policy.
