Id say the Gainward for just the Looks, but Both should be solid cards to use.

I have used both, both performed great.

The Phatom has the looks and cooling, the EVGA has a life time warranty, and undeniably great customer service.

I've never had a product from EVGA, so I can't say much about them.

I'm currently running a Gainward Phantom GTX580 and I'm happy with it. Low temps, nice overclockability and it looks bad-ass too. Haven't had any problems with it.
