Evga rma fail

I have EVGA supernova 650watt Plat Psu that only sends 10v on 12v rail.

While removing said PSU For RMA I put a minor scratch on the PSU. Sent the Unit in and EVGA is denying me RMA due to minor cosmetic blemish. They are sending be back the broken unit, I am just trying to figure out what to do with it…

I already purchased a new PSU for my main rig.(not evga ever again)

I have thought of trying to fix scratch and sending it back again. Not sure if that would work or be a waste of shipping…

SO I was wondering if I would be able to use the PSU perhaps on a lower power using platform.

It was ruining a 1800x and r9 280 but kept crashing that rig while gaming and high power situation.

Does anyone think it would be safe to put with a 1090t and a old hd 6700 gpu? At least the Gpu will not be pulling as many watts.

I was only getting crashes with the bad PSU during gaming situations.

Or does anyone know how to fix PSU

Thx for thoughts and comments.

No, unless you find some odd platform that uses 10v instead of 12v

In theory yes.
In practice, I need the service manual including the circuit diagramm.
