Evga Or msi 770

I'm looking to upgrade from my evga 650 to something more substantial. i have a budget of £300-£400 i was looking at the cards on ebuyer as ive bought from them befor and trust them. the msi card is about £50 cheaper but i was wondering if the performance was much different e.g. are the evga cards better quality etc. I'm open to other suggestions of nvidia or amd cards in my price range I'm really looking for price to performance.

Just go with the cheaper brand and save yourself £50. MSI and EVGA both make good 7xx cards. In other series of GPU it does matter more.

Also, make sure your system can actually handle a 770. That might sound odd, but I see a lot of people trying to put high end cards on some old dual core in a pre-built PC.

770 is a good card, there are AMD options that compete with it. I'm not going to recommend a particular card. AMD and Nvidia trade blows.

If your PSU can handle it (I reccomend 750wgold+, but bronze might do it) Save up 50 dollars and buy 2 MSI GTX 760's. If you configure them right, they will destroy pretty much anything thrown at them with 80+ FPS. They can even compete with a 1000$ GTX Titan.
