I can't seem to find any reviews on this card does anybody know how it performs compared to Asus's 660 ti oc or MSI's power edition? Im interested to know as I have recently purchased this card and the core clock and the boost clock of this card is higher than the power edition and I've heard good things about the fan its using since its the same one used on the 680 ftw edition. I most likely would have purchased the Power Edition if anybody sold it in my country but unfortunatly nobody does :/
Personally, I don't think so, but the last I checked, that particular card encroached on the 670's price range here in the US. But between those two cards, I think the EVGA is much better than MSI, especially since reading about MSI's method of overvolting their PE GTX cards, which can cause the system to not POST, plus my own personal bad luck with MSI GPU's (560-Ti 570 both died).
Thanks for the reply, The card is $529 NZD while the reference 670 is $619 NZD(Non-reference cooler $659) so the gap must be a bit bigger over here.
Yeah, the difference isn't that much here, especially if you start looking into the 3GB 660-Ti's, which can cost more than a 670.
If you're gonna go evga and want the sig 2 series, check out the 3GB Superclocked Sig 2 660. I think they're like $260 right now and same core (1046Mhz) and almost same boost clock (1111 Mhz) speeds as the evga 660 ti sig 2 (boost clock 1124) with the exception of having 1GB more vram and slightly less power consumption. The only real difference is the cuda cores... if the 1344 compared to 960 is worth $50+ to you then go with the ti. If not, save the extra $50+ and go with this:
