Avantasia, Jorn Lande, Edguy.

They're all really great - if you haven't heard of them you should check out some of their stuff.

To give some context, Edguy's vocalist Tobias Sammet made Avantasia which is basically a collaboration of  a bunch of different metal vocalists/bands/etc. Jorn has appeared in many Avantasia songs.

thank you for these you have opened my eyes to a wider rang of bands, before i used to just listen to Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer.

RAM is a very neat band that I think most people miss, They are influenced by Judas Priest.
