Windows 10, for some weird reason, will not identify my ethernet connection on my laptop and will not connect to the internet. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, doing diagnostics, sacrificing animals to Baphomet, etc. and nothing has worked so far. I'm living in a university residence hall and my ethernet cable is plugged into some ethernet box on the wall.
The weird thing about this is that my ethernet works on my Linux boot, but not my Windows 10 boo, so I know this isn't hardware problems. Do you guys have any other suggestions on what I can do? The wifi here is spotty.
Edit: Wifi for Windows 10 does work, but I want to use ethernet
