Ethernet Cables

What is good for an ethernet cable? What is a cat7 good for, and what is the best for gaming?

There's no positive sense for normal users, unless they're running a server that's high in demand (domain controllers, NAS or some form of a high-end local storage server, DNS, DHCP, game servers, etc), or if a local line is capable of anything that's near the CAT7 standard; which that'll be over 10Gbs in bandwidth. So if you have a connection that's not great, a CAT5e cable will do just fine.

Only some enterprises or businesses would've required the use of these cables. No normal users would have these yet. Even CAT6 is still not for everyone yet.
