Nice! I do happen to have been thinking about monitor arms, I'm not quite at the point yet where I need more than 2 monitors though.

I liked the part where you were jamming unterminated CAT into the inputs. XD

Lol using cat 5 to demo cable management.

How are these compared to the SpaceCo solutions? These are obviously much cheaper but is there a significant difference in quality that makes the SpaceCo's a better option?

Great video-review of these monitor stands @Wendell; as always your reviews are always first class :)

A year (or maybe more) ago you mentioned (on The Tek I think) that Space Arms would be coming to the merch store. Did that deal fall through?

A NEW VIDEO!? :O

This sentence is in lower case so the form validation will accept this post.

Edit: Does my desk support desk clamping? Goddammit we need a desk clamping certification program. We need standardisation and digestable logos!

It occurs to me that it is only 10AM and I am already in a "one of those" states.

I REGRET NOTHING!

I've been looking to revamp my monitor setup a bit. Might pick one of these up, although I'd also have to get rid of this folding table of mine :P.

An iMac AND a Turtle Beach headset in a Tek Syndicate video?! nah only joking haha

This is really cool, I am not yet at the point, or have the space for a set up like these but I do plan on it in the future. Very nice review, had all the information I could ever need.

The arm I had "sags" over time. It has a very similar nut to adjust the tilt.
I was having to loosen that nut, tilt the monitor back up and re tighten about once a week.
No matter how tight I make it I'll notice the monitor has tilted down over a few days.

edit: to clarify, I am not talking about the arms in this video.

Bought a one-arm version end of last year for work. The one I bought was branded Ricoo here in Germany, but it seems to be a rebrand as it looks identical.
haven't had any issues with, and only needed to retighten the screw for the monitor tilt once.

Nice video, thank you wendell! But now I'm even more intrigued by your sit-stand-desk. May I ask what brand and model it is?

Good video, lots of useful info on costs that are often neglected in setups. Ergonomics is well worth the investment in the long run.

Plus glad to see Wendell come out from behind the monitor, denying us the handsomeness this whole time.
Keep up the good work!

When I have a fitting slipping like that I will cut a washer out of EPDM or some other solid rubber gasket material with a lot of "grippyness" to it. If it not feasible to fit a washer in place sometimes belt dressing spray applied to mating surfaces works.

Man, I feel like I should have thought of that at the time. Next time I will definitely try something like that. Thanks for the tip.

Nice review! So glad you're starting this workplace ergonomics series :)
Currently I'm looking to get a single monitor Ergotron LX (EU, no Ergotech here) for my 27 inch Dell. Plan to switch to a 34inch ultrawide later, and I've seen it can hold those as well.
If anyone has experience with other brands available in EU, please share ;)

Great Review! Would love to see more videos on ergonomics maybe a 3 monitor stand also.

Doesn't answer your question but Matt Schaefer made a review of a sit/stand desk today if you're interested:
