Hello,
I have an Enmotus Fuzion P200HEQ (1.4TB usable). It is just over 3 years old (installed DEC 2020). According to the FUZION sofware, it is at 52% life remaining. This is in what I would consider a fairly standard gaming PC, I don’t think I am really doing anything that would thrash the disk more than usual. Is this normal? Should I expect longer life from SSDs or not?
You are 3 years into a product that has a 5 year warranty. That is 60% of it’s lifetime. You have 52% disk life remaining. A little more than half way into its life, you’ve used about half of the useful life of the product. Thats about on track if you ask me?
Enmotus as a company went out of business…so you don’t really have recourse action if you weren’t on track, right?
Well, I guess I was mostly seeing if anyone else had the same problem. If they went out of business, then I guess if there is something wrong, it doesn’t really matter and I should just replace it, since the warranty seems to have outlived the company.
I mean its fine, the question was fair, just not much more to say. I wouldn’t stress too much, you should be able to get another years worth of use at your current pace with little cause for concern.
