Has anyone had experience buying an ES chip on eBay? How was the experience, and do people think it's worth it?
Only asking because I'm considering getting one or two ES Xeons.
Engineering samples tend to be clocked slightly lower sometimes, I think recent ES chips have 200mhz less on the clock.
They're also pre production or very -very- early production so they might act weird in some way or another.
But if you can get one for cheaper or simply for the collection factor they should be alright.
