Enderal is about to launch. Will you be playing this total conversion for Skyrim?
It's time to get Skyrim going again (did anyone actually uninstall it). Enderal is launching soon. What is it? Enderal is a total conversion for Skyrim. This is not just a mod, it is a total conversion that changes everything. It's basically a free, more hardcore RPG using the Skyrim engine.
It changes the leveling system (no more skill based leveling), it changes the leveled creatures, it changes loot, etc. I'm not going to comment on the plot, but you can check it out on SureAI's website: http://sureai.net/?lang=en
With huge mods like this it is a shame that the paid mods got cancelled. As I would be happy to pay for what is literally a new game. Might have to see if they have a donation page after I have tried it.
Does that mean, that once o install that i can't play standard Skyrim anymore? Because F that S if that's the case... I want my Skyrim more than i want this...
Bad idea...
Another bad idea...
Basically it is standard RPG with standard leveling and standard linearity, where you can't go wherever, because the mobs will be to high level...
Looking again at Skyrim today, I really get bothered by its lack of PBR rendering. Even though it was re-released, it still appears to only use a classic diffuse map + specular map Lambert setup. You need the law of conservation of energy in there to get realistic materials like everything else in the industry today. And some sort of ambient lightmass for the shadows and sky/color bleed wouldn't hurt either.
It sucks when even though you mod the shit out of the game, with all the effort to make it look as amazing as possible, you still can't get past these limitations.
Anyway, I'd rather invest time in Skywind, for the story.
And why so much german everywhere? Would those guys seriously rather play/watch something like LotR in german? I'm not english-native but I always play DnD in english.
Logan, you're making me proud lol. But I'm still wondering why (or is it just play it at release). I am german myself and I rarely play games in german (though I'll do it for this one because I really want this mod!)
I'm gonna state the obvious here and say there's something eerily familiar hearing Germans speaking of a "cleansing"... Why not just call it a "solution" while you're at it?
Skyrim and the modding community are awesome. Ive been following this one and some of the other total conversions for a while now. However, I'm not planning on playing it. I actually never got very far in the base game to be honest. I would get caught up in installing mods, creating characters and trying new things and never bothered really going very far with the main quest line. This is just how it goes for me when playing large sandboxes sometimes.
this sounds like an interesting quest, but it also changes so many things it would be incompatible with many of my other mods. is their a mod compatibility/incompatibility list? i assume this has to be done with a new save?
I just got a new SSD with the money that I was going to spend upgrading to the 1070 before the price was of announced to be of a 80 series, so now I can have my normal modded skyrim, a Enderal modded skyrim and a special edition modded skyrim :)
