I figure that this is a pretty easy subject for many people here, but it is daunting and very new to me.
I have a WT32-ETH, an ESP32 device, and I want to power it on my desk to do some set up - and I will need to wire it for power later too.
I have an Uno R4 and a Breadboard. This is my simple wiring diagram…
This is currently just using Dupont connections. The Uno has a 3x3v pin and a GND pin and if I remember rightly these go to the + and - rails on the breadboard respectively.
From here, I can take the + rail and run that to the 3x3v pin on the WT32-ETH, and run the - rail to the GND.
The WTH is also wired to an antenna using the other 3x3v / GND pins (so I wanted to check that it doesn’t matter which ones you use?).
I have not introduced power yet - as I thought I would sanity check it, make sure I have not done something stupid and fry an UnoR4, a WTH32 and an antenna…
Anyone see any issues or should I be good to go to power up the Uno (via USB) and then start to flash firmware to the WT32?
