I’m trying to get a feel for how much the top NVIDIA & AMD GPUs today would be limited by an AMD laptop w/ an integrated GPU (for the host) that has USB4 (for the eGPU connection). While in a windows VM with the eGPU attached, I wonder how much it will be limited by the eGPU connection and by AMD’s integrated GPU. I will be using Looking Glass because I only want to deal with one display. The primary concern is Davinci Resolve performance in the windows VM, but I would like to know how much games would be limited too.
