Educate the state

"The Australian Parliament continues to pass more and more aggressive, totalitarian laws in the name of security.

Presently, they are debating forcing ISPs to hold data relating to your internet usage. It's just so 1984 that we thought it best to remind them of what that book says.

So we're going to send every senator a copy of 1984."

This is not my indiegogo, but as an Australian it caught my eye; you guys might wanna check it out

I like the idea but...

I find it a bit curious that a group of privacy activists would actually use Java/Flash on their web site. FYI: Java is about as horrible as it gets when it comes to security. I won't even go into all the little obnoxious scripts that their choice of hosting service is obviously polluting their pages with. I just find it all very interesting. In fact, I'd bet most/all of their supporters still blindly search with Google too. (Pssst! The government is the LEAST of your worries when Google does the crap that they do.)

Thankfully, we don't have that kind of security thing going on here (very much).

This is pretty funny, and probably quite effective.
