I'm looking to build a new editing computer. I mainly use the computer to scan and edit images. I run multiple scanners on their own virtual machines so I need the power to run at least 4 virtual machines and edit 50+ 7GB photos at a time in Photoshop without anything slowing down. I also do a bit of editing with Premiere. So what would you guys recommend for me?
Thanks

Just a rough idea
Maybe? if your using the adobe suites the gtx 650 will provide extra perfromance because of the cuda cores also the rig is mini itx so it does not take up much space and if your not a fan of the bitfenix prodigy maybe look at a silverstone fortress ft03 mini as a replacement.
Hope it helped!
Thanks, I don't think a mini itx will work for me. I use the comptuer as a file server as well and will have 6 HD's in it. I have a case already so I'm really just looking to replace the MB, CPU, GPU and RAM. Do you have any other suggestions?
Thanks
I would recommend going with the AMD 8350, get a decent mobo, 32 GB of RAM with an Nvidia quadro or something like the 660 or higher. You should also invest in a decent cooler and overclock the sh*t out of it.

I'd recommend something like this.. but..
1. Get an awesome CPU cooler so you can overclock
2. You dont need to use the RAM I chose, just play around with the brand, latency and speed :) (Higher speed, lower latency)
3. And this is optional: Get an SSD so rendering will get faster (If you render down to the ssd)
Hope that helped :D
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/tf6g try this
for your cpu definatley go for the fx 8350 because of the 8 cores this helps loads with rendering
logan recomands muskin memory and the ssd has high capacity
but anything you get will be pretty much beast
also i put in the water cooler so you can overclock the hell out of it for increased performance
You can add a SSD later down the road and more ram as well, that cooler cools better than a H80 and as good as a H100
