EDI HDD converter idea

I have just bought and built my first computer, i took hard drives out old computers that we had lying around and all of them are IDE not SATA, i was hoping you guys had an good ideas to convert them, im from the UK by the way

It's not going to be worth the time to convert them as they are already probably performing at their limit. If you're looking for a true performance boost, and you have a couple of open SATA ports. Pick up a fairly cheap SSD to put your OS on, then use all of the other IDE drives as extra storage. That way your system itself won't be bogged down by the bottleneck of those HDDs.

that was the plan, but i wanted this old one so i could mess with linux and find a distro i liked
