I am going to upgrade my crappy computer soon and I do not want to spend too much money (Of course!). The only problem is im not sure if i can trust ebay. I hear alot of good things from people about NewEgg so i feel i can trust NewEgg. Pretty much what im trying to say is should i save money on ebay or spend more on NewEgg. BTW im trying to get more ram. (Two extra DDR PC3200 Slots)
Go eBay, seriously, this year the price of RAM skyrocketed. I saw 2GB of DDR2 800 and a respectable brand go for $15 on eBay. As long as the seller has +10 feedback, you're safe, and always pay with Paypal, that will assure you nothing can go wrong.

What's with the price of RAM going apeshit? I got 4GB 800mhz in 2008 for like £35, now I look on the same website where I bought it from and it's £90.... :s

I'm pretty sure its just DDR2 going up. It's probabllly because Companies are focusing on DDR3 now.
