cant for bulldozer and BF3 YEAH!!!!

Well, now that E3 is over, it should be easier to find some stuff. This, I want to bring up... You know, every year at E3 there's at least one new game announced that really gets me pumped-up and grinning from ear-to-ear in front of my monitor. But this year, there was nothing. Sure, Skyrim, Mass Effect 3 and Bioshock Infinite look awesome. But I expected that. They had all been previously announced, and I'm a huge fan of the previous games in their respective series'. So I knew they were going to be awesome, you know? But what I did not expect, was this.

... What the fucking fuck?! This must be one of the signs of the apocalypse. I'm about to blow my brains out with a gun. This doesn't make any sense. This can't be real. Why is this happening?

But it's true. I loathed the original Prey. But this is completely, awesomely different. First, let me note that the highlighting you see is only when you're using the visor gadget, which is optional to use. Also, while the demo shown in the video is more action-based, you will have stealth choices. They claim there are at least a dozen ways to get into that seedy night club to take out the teleporting alien, Dra'Gar[1]. Here's to hoping they flesh those elements out.

To be honest, I'm much more interested in Prey 2 than Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The game has the big open world, the dark sci-fi atmosphere and the cool abilities, but much more fluid and interesting. And if it turns out the stealth elements are indeed as impressive as the action, this can be a hell of a game.

Some other cool things are when you have your gun out, NPC's take notice quickly. They'll shoot, cower, run, or apparently bad-mouth you depending on what type of character they are. You can kill anyone you see, use them as body shields, but every death has a consequence. Their are law enforcement in the city, as well as vicious gangs and mobs that will come after you if you kill too many aliens or just the wrong one. You can also take bribes from your bounties or interrogate them once you've captured them for more information or money stashes (at the risk of killing them)[2].

Of course I'm curious to know if their are any other types of missions than bounty hunting aliens, how good the story is, and as previously stated, how deep the stealth gameplay is. Still, if nothing else this looks like exactly what I'd envision a great sci-fi bounty hunter game should be. I can't even believe that I'm this excited over Prey fucking 2... I had no interest in this game from seeing that live-action trailer a few months ago. The first was a mediocre, linear corridor FPS. Now, it's one of my most anticipated games; more than DX:HR!

Human Head Studios... You insane bastards. What have you done?

Wow...Prey 2?

I remember watching my brother play the original Prey and it looked insanely boring. I never played through the game myself just because the premise of it just seemed so unoriginal and the story looked so boring. Although, I guess I can't really judge since I never played the game and I just really watched the first part of the game being played. I don't really know the entire story line all that well except that some Native American guy's tribe was abducted by aliens.

Watching this footage from Prey 2, though, suddenly has me interested. I remember seeing links for Prey 2 and thinking, "Really...they're making another one? Why? Maybe the gaming scene is just that bad nowadays." But now that I actually see it...it looks kind of amazing. I might actually buy this game...and I cringe a little knowing that it's under the title of Prey 2.
