E-waste, obsolete/broken electronics in NZ?

I was wondering if anyone knows of a recycling centre or surplus supplier with e-waste on offer in Auckland, New Zealand. I am a school student looking to learn more about electronics and technology through the process of taking apart and experimenting with old, obsolete or even dead electronics.

Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

It's super easy to get old PC's in New Zealand. People really want to get rid of their old shit so if you offer to take it you'll get it. I literally made a business out of getting PC's and refurbishing them for Business studies this year and I wasn't even in a populated place like Auckland.

Just asking around in your neighbourhood should be a good way to get started.

Damn, wont be anywhere near wellington in the near future unfortunatly

That's all good! Otherwise Id have a ring around some of the businesses in your local area, seeing as they mostly have to pay to take their stuff away having someone come and take it for free is welcome.
