I recently decided to quit smoking after 10 long years. I've tried in the past going cold turkey but I would always rage to much so I would always quickly quit quitting. This time around I tried getting a proper E-cig kit it worked wonders for me personally and I have heard of many others with sucessful cases such as mine.
I'm using Ego-T. I have strawberry, grape, watermelon, cola among others. Grape is my favourite atm.
In Canada they have banned E-cig containing nicotene...Cancer etc the reasoning behind it. I call schananigans, Helping put money in big cigarette corps pockets. Also Cigarettes are a 50 billion tax income in Canada.
?? No I'm sharing my personal experience I'm hoping to hear others experience. Maybe order some new flavours or learn to mix on my own.
I quit cold turkey years ago and wish for everyone else in the world to quit also, nasty habit with 0 redeming features.
Not trying to derail the thread here but, how does everyone feel about people smoking e-cigs inside? It happens all the time at my work place and basically everywhere else I go.
i find a cough more from smoking an e cig. i usually buy the throw away ones though. i know its cheaper in the long run to buy the kits they sell but it just seems like a large initial investment. i've never had flavored ones but i really do need to quit smoking. if only for the sheer fact im out of shape.
I would love to try an E-cig to see what it is like. And for the vapors and smoking them inside I find it a little odd and distracting. For instance, in a lecture hall with 300 people and suddenly you see cloud of what looks like smoke will catch you off gaurd. Not saying I have a problem with it, but I think for inside smoking of E-cigs there should be a way of not having the vapors. If there isnt that option already.
I love my pack of Blu's, although the flavors aren't the best, the mint and tobacco are pretty good. It amazes me how realistic the draw and vapor seem though. People who are having problems coughing are trying to smoke them like real cigarettes. The difference is that you don't inhale e-cig vapor, you hold it in your mouth and maybe breath it out your nose. You absorb the nicotine through your mucus membranes instead. As a result it takes a little longer to get the buzz, but it's still possible.
The lack of smoke, not having to carry a lighter, ability to put it down anywhere, smoke it anywhere, shove it in your pocket, no lingering smell, etc. It's got so many advantages it's great. Lots of people complain about the battery life but the $30 starter kit I got has two e-cigs, and a pack that can recharge them, so it's really like having 4. They last forever.
I still enjoy the smoke and flavor of a good cigar but for something to carry in your pocket, it totally replaces cigarettes.
Not at all, I was just wondering what other's input would be on it. Since smoking inside, other than bars, is pretty much something that you just don't do, I was just curious.
You are coughing because you smoke real cigarettes.
For instance when I try eating a hot bowl of soup i cough like mad from the steam. Same thing is happening here for you with the e cigs, I have the same problem when I'm drawing to quickly.
Blu is terrible imo, It was the first kit I tried just didn't do it for me. Also in Canada, Blu don't contain nicotene what so ever(read above) don't know what your situation may be.
Refilable kits are the way to go. If there small like a real cigaratte then there probably crap but if they look like a crack pipe they are just right.
Yeah they have Nicotine in the States. Not sure why they wouldn't in Canada. Also I can't vouch for the old ones but the new ones have a better battery, and I'm pretty sure you can refill the cartomizers too.
