I dont expect anyone to take my credibility seriously as I have no history posting this kind of info within this forum, however my source is always on the money when it comes to nextgen cards, release dates and specs.
I think windows 7 is better in General for Gaming and Casual use. I dont need pictures and stuff to tell me much. They pretty much have my purchase set. I just dont hope there are a crap load of windows updates and a junk load of errors. I also pray to god that it does not have a starting price as high as vista or else I will have to try another scheme to get my hands on it.
These are pre-rendered images...definitely no real time there
To render a single frame of this size with this caustics, bumps and other maps, it would take about 118 seconds on a QX9770. Unless you use something like the Quadro FX 5800 with 4 Gigs of Vram.
there is your proof that DX11 is out their in the form of a SDK. weather or not you believe the OP pics are fake or not is up to you, but fact is if the SDK is already released to the public then why wouldnt pics like these be leaked?
"Included in the November 2008 DirectX SDK is a technical preview of Direct3D 11 and associated components and tools. Direct3D 11 is an update to Direct3D 10.1 enabling new hardware features as well as improving the breadth of configurations supported by Direct3D. As such, Direct3D 11 enables developers to create applications and games that work on Direct3D 10, Direct3D 10.1, and Direct3D 11 hardware when it becomes available. With the addition of WARP and Direct3D 10 Level 9, Direct3D 10.1 and Direct3D 11 have the ability to target fast software rasterization and Direct3D 9 hardware."
That's a development kit with a technical preview of D3D11, and I never doubted there was an SDK out for developers...
What I doubted is about the veracity of the images that you posted as being DX11 technical demonstrations, and that up to now are still fake to me and some others around here...
Afterall you didn't prove that the images you posted are real.
