Budget 140 bucks. Sounds doesnt bother me. If it sounds like a jet engine and keeps my CPU below 60c at Full load I am happy.
I just need suggestions. Was looking on amazon today. As of right now its between the h115i and the TT water 3.0. If you have any other suggestions give them to me =)
I would suggest a high end twin tower cooler(like a D15) over an AIO, less prone to failure, similar performance, cheaper, and usually quieter. That is if your case can fit one. Otherwise as psycho said, the kraken x61 seems to be pretty good.
Thats my biggest fear of AIO. thats why I've had my 212 since it came out. I call it an evo but I think its the 212 plus =) not sure how to tell anymore. What is the warranty if the aio fails? do they help refund for the system loss? That is if its AIO's fault I have eyeing the D15. Case is no issue I have the TT Core x9. I could fit another case inside my case. With that said yeah the D15 looks awesome and will be the one I pick if I stay air.
they are quite good, after trying corsiar's hydro, antec hydro, coolermaster nepton i prefer enermax due to overall quality.
not to mention rubber on fan chassis, and radiator - making fans much more quiet. *corsair is overrated.
(i feel enermax due to being small produces quite high quality parts - though i haven't been affected some state many are DOA - so keep that in mind if you order enermax, still those could be just noobs or salty competition)
Would need to change out the water, let it evaporate (evaporative cooling is a thing), or have some massive, fanless heat exchanger or else the water would get heat soaked and would stop cooling.
you could also cut out 2 holes through old fridge doors, and run copper piping through there with heatsinks etc.. then use normal plastic tubing outside.
Me too. I had my 860k OC'ed to 4.4 with no trouble. 30c of headroom at full load. I got this i7 6700k STOCK full load it wants to go 82 84ish tried reseting the thermal paste and everything
currently building that all i have left to buy is the block. i have 1 280MM rad and 2 140MM rads bought a fountain pump and a 5 gallon bucket drilled holes to fit tubing through lid then caulked in the tubes to the lid i should be able to add 2 GPU's to the loop if i felt the need.obviously i will use my delta and gentle typhoons for the fans.
