I think the HUD looks ugly but the lighting looks a lot better than the yellow tint of Human Revolution.

Ugh, that gravely try hard voice is so outdated. The gameplay screams to be in VR, the augmented UI would look more fitting in a VR view I bet.
@wolfleben I think UI isn't so bad if the FOV was around 90-100 with the hand model scaled to it, and with UI scale was around 75-80%.

I think the UI is trying to create VR look mainly because VR is the current thing so it make sense from an aesthetic perspective, if it works for hours of gameplay well we will find out in august.
It looks nice. Let's just cross our fingers that this is actually representative of the release.
