Hey guys,
A friend of mine bought 2 Dell u2515h monitors, and they are showing different "colors".
PC: -OS : Elementary OS -GPU: MSI 390
He hooked them up to pc running Elementary OS (linux). One is connected by HDMI, the other one is connected by DisplayPort.
The HDMI-monitor has a sort of "blueish" fade on the screen, while the DisplayPort has not. We also hooked it up to a WIndows Machine, same story.
The screen-settings are exactly the same, to make sure, we reset them back to factory defaults.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Same cable? My first guess would be change out the cables, common issue I have with older cables
Try switching them around. If the monitors still have the same colors with different cables, you know it's the monitors themselves.
I had the same problem with a pair of 23" Samsungs BITD. One was just more yellow than the other and no amount of messing with the settings would solve it.

make sure they're both using RGB or YcBcr
also their is a variance in panels, only compare them on the sRGB setting.
As others have said swap cables, also try a factory reset on both monitors, and reset any os or driver color adjustments to default.
