DSLR timelapse

I have been doing a bit of timelapse on my 4k action camera recently an liked the results, but as always... I want MOAR!

so I want to learnt to do it properly on my full frame camera, I know all the obvious, tripod, remote etc...

but what are peoples recommended settings, aperture priority? some poeple say with this you will get micro changes in exposure that will look "flickery" although with my action cam in full auto I havent observed this yet?

obviously I will be shooting RAW and will be hoping to do this on the beach for my upcoming holiday, maybe a few sun rises and sun sets, so also metering suggestions please

all depends on the weather and location. small fast clouds create flickering, but if they are large or not directly overhead than something like Aperture priority would be fine. If you are shooting something in mid-day and not over a sunset than fully manual would work. Use and ND filter to get your shutter as low as possible before creating unwanted blurring. I've found that if you are under cover and shooting out the exposures on Aperture priority seem to work fine. If you're in the worst case scenario then there is some software that can help or just adjusting each shot in post. If only there was like a setting to where you can try and lock the histogram to only meter a certain way or something
