For the past week or so, the time zone on my Droid Turbo has been changing. From what I can tell, it has only gone to GMT which I can understand as being a Verizon network issue. My only concern is that my Origin account was subject to a hacking attempt. While successful, I was able to take the precautions to prevent such a thing again.
Shortly after the hacking is when the time zone on my phone started changing. I haven’t quite pinned it down to whether or not it’s just when the phone is on my home network, but I can say that it happens far more frequently there as it’s the only place I’ve seen the time change.
Just today, my fiancee told me that the language displayed on her web browsers changed to German. While most likely unrelated, I would just as soon make that fact known.
Would you guys say that this is more of a phone issue or a security issue? If the latter, what steps could I take to prevent such a thing in the future?
