Dreaming of Linus. very disturbing

I woke up in a cold sweat from a nightmare aboot LTT.

Linus and Luke were in town and swung by for a visit. I went to show them my PC. When I opened the side panel, I found that someone had dumped a vacuum cleaner bag inside my case. I was so shocked I had a stroke and couldn't speak or move.

Linus: "Yaaaa know, keeping your PC clean is really important."
Luke: "Yeah dude. Have you ever heard of compressed air?"

I had to stand there and take their abuse, paralyzed. I was trying to mumble " I don't know how it got this way", but I was a drooling moron to them.

The HORROR...

ok I know the cure just watch 2 episodes of tek, 1 episode of the amazing atheist, and 1 episode of alphaomegasin and post back here in the morning. lol

Unlike the OP for me Linus and LTT is dead to me. Getting banned on their message boards after being bothered by one individual endlessly and not having Linus reverse it was the last straw. Eh I am not surprised he didn't reverse and really I don't care as I got sick of their content and Linus was beginning to sound like an arrogant, pompous ***. Has that changed at all? I doubt it.

For the record I am not a LTT fanboy.
However, even though he may sound annoying, I respect his intelligence.
I don't watch every video, but the ones I choose to see are very informative.

I did work with LTT and Linus on a T-shirt project (Vote for Turnip). I found their organization very professional and after we had some problems Linus paid me double.
So he may be whiny, but he's smart and a class act all the way.

As long as he doesn't join me in bed again.

  • breaks motherboard after motherboard with the same mistake over and over again.
  • uses compressed air cans for cleaning heatsinks.
  • uses abrasive cloth to "clean" the IHS of a cpu and not wiping the dust and grit off before applying liquid metal thermal paste.
  • whole room watercooling project, I can't even.

This is what a CPU in the hands of LTT group look like.

I'm genuinely surprised why someone could call that guy intelligent.

I'd love to use my compressor on that.
Also I don't see any reason for anyone to not own a compressor, they're dirt cheap and really useful for a lot of stuff.

I don't know man, the guy has a way better idea of how all this hardware works than I do. He's done great explanations on FPS stuff. I just don't like sponsor corporate shill part. However checking his Linkdin page he's got a lot of sales experience so it makes sense that he does the shilling stuff. I hardly watch any of their videos any way, but going in depth is nice.

You could have been like "Oh, I forgot that I was going to ask you to diagnose this PC..."

"Just so... you aren't you know... a linus impostor."

And then he'll be like "They're ONTO ME!" and he'll stab you, and you'll die... and that will be that.
