Dragon Age: Origins

I have been playing this game all day. Had been a damn while since I played a game straight for that long, it's amazing.
Now you guys need to stop crying of CoD6 and get this fucking game. It's fantastic.

PS. If you're an idiot who just runs head first into battle you'll fail on normal difficulty.

i just watched a couple reviews for it and it looks great. the way it was described makes me think ill be playing it for months. i tend to go through games like this slowly, do sidequest, explore ect. it sucks though that my monitors out and cant play it. ill have to wait until christmas to get and play it..

its also good to see console gamers getting the inferior version of the game they deserve lol.

Just purchased the game. I'll play it afterwards though. Since I really want to play Borderlands.

It's good, but really it's just Neverwinter Nights 2 with a modern graphics engine. Same combat dynamics, same classes (Mostly), same skills, same character archetypes, and similar plot twists. I mean shit, the DLC that lets you build up your own fort is just straight up included in Neverwinter Nights 2.

Not that I don't enjoy it a lot (I think I have played it for 2 sold days minus sleep, though at this point not even shure :)) but when in game you are asked to buy DLC, you can't kill the NPC asking how many points you have at EA, drawback for shure. Sort of cheesed me also, after you pay $50 Biobreak still has there hand out for more. What gives lately with good developers like Valve (same game new weapons $50) and Bio shorting their fan base, why not have a 65 dollar ver. only, if thats how much it costs to develop it. I wouldn't have bought it at all had I known they would remind me in game to go to their web site and spend.

I like to run headfirst into battle in Dragon Ace Origins.

The only thing I hate about this game is the advertising. They advertise it like its a whole different game.

I'm not one to be able to get into DAO for a long time, and I'm thinking of starting a Rogue instead of a warrior cause I don't have lockpicks and whatnot.

this game is additive to me

anyone know where i can find a book or person to teach me berserker and or champion skill thing stuff?

I have only found the Templar book yet and it's pretty easy to come across...I am looking for the Reaver one personally.

ahhhhh after some research:

Might get it but ive got these to get through

1) Uncharted 2, about half way through
2) Assassins Creed 2, Only played 1Hour
3) MW2, Havnt started the story
4) borderlands, @ lvl 28

I'v played all of those and as far as RPG goes, Dragon Age is much much superior.

dragonage is like.... the best single player game released in 5 years if you ask me. Its pretty much baldurs gate II times one thousand, and it doesn't feel like the average console port or anything, its fully pc, and fully badass

i think i'm gonna ask for it for Christmas it looks really good graphically

I've been pretty poor recently, and I believe Baldurs Gate 2 is kick ass (I grew up on those as a kid), but would you advise it as a game that could last pretty long for an RPG fan? Also, secondly, would you get it for PS3 or PC if you were in my position? Thanks.

get it for PC as it has more features. specifically the overhead view, which really comes in handy when trying to use strategy in battles. also, the game is long as fuck.

dragon ages campaign alone is like 70 fucking hours. rediculous. with side quests it can add up to 200 hours.

Why is it that i feel bad inside when i do something Eevil in an RPG? am i taking games too seriously?!

It just proves you are NOT a complete sociopath...

Hahaa! ah well... as u said, NOT complete but at some level......
