Not getting excited.... Bethesda have come to be one of the worste publishers recently and IMO as bad as Activision. A trailer from them means nothing to me after BRINK, RAGE, and Skyrim that although many like it was a very very lazy made mod for fallout with a tonne of glitches.
A publisher has nothing to do with a game, sans the disc making process.
Yes they do (Thats likE saying Activision have nothing to do with Call of Duty, LOL),
Bethesda are the ones that fund the game and controll it. They decide how much to spend on the actual development of the game, and advertising ect. (in Bethesdas case recently has been very bad)
And they also have the last say on what the game consist of, and tell the developers what they can and cant do.
Heres hoping they let ID do what they want and actually spend more money on development of the game than advertsising..... that would break the chain from the last 3 years of what Bethesda have been doing with the likes of BRINK, RAGE, and even Skyrim.
Good point. I never thought of it that way.
I'm not excited because Doom 3 was graphically gouged because of consoles, and it already looked great on Max settings on PC. I can't see how this would be a new thing to get into. After all, they're reselling a game that already came out. Possibly a marketing hype for Doom 4.
It's been a while since I played DOOM 3, and I'll probably get this.
