PowerToys has added always on top, you can make any window float above others even when not in focus
We had that 20 years ago.
NiftyWindows is a long abandoned autohotkey script with many features like.
- Moving windows by holding right mouse button.
- closing and minimizing windows with different combinations of mouse buttons
- Making a window always on top with winkey+mouse click
- Adjusting the transparency of a window with mousewheel
Lots of cool stuff. It’s been about since the early 2000s but it is still great to use in 2022.
If you think manging windows with powertoys is the best you can do, you really need to give this a shot.
