I really want to be able to play Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn on my PC but it appears I am unable to rip the dvd with my current dvd drive. All of the drives that are guaranteed to work with Rawdump2.1 are either non-SATA or not avalable. Would I be better off searching for a drive or opting by obtaining a copy by other means?
You will have to download an ISO. The Gamecube disks require a special Drive to rip them because Gamecube games are written backwards on the disk. If you own a physical copy, it is not illegal to download an ISO version of the game.
just make sure the iso you download is roughly 1.4 GB, much more or less and you'll probably get something bad

Seems about right if only it didn't take 8 hours to download. My internet is still tied up from downloading porrtal 2 and Bioshock.
A while back I screwed up with a Fire Emblem Sword of Seals rom download and ended up with tons of
hentai.
**Update** Didn't work. Emuparadise does not have Wii roms.
You might have to go to a torrent website. Its a gray area, though, even if you do own it physically.
I am able to get Fire Emblem Path Of Radiance fairly easily. I might wait for Emuparadise to cach up and have wii games.
If you get a wii, you can back up all of your physical copies to an external harddrive with homebrew. Play the "ISO" (Actually WBFS) Files without the disks. As long as you own them. You can pick up a wii for around 30-50 bucks. So I would go that rout.
I have a wii to use but it is my sisters. Not sure if she wants me to risk bricking her system.
